Philip Zimbardo

He is a psychologist and profesor emeritus of the Stanford University .He is know for his Stanford prision study It is a study about the influences of a extreme enviroment and life in prision in the human behavior.
In the experiment Zimbardo offered $ 15 a day  to students who wants to participate in this study .Of the students who presented  Zimbardo choose  ,means a test, to 24 students .They was divided in two groups with differents roles : prisioners and guards. A day the polices was to the house of the “prisioners” to arrest their.

The “prisioners” was arrest in the basement of the University . Zimbardo say to the guards how they must to trate to the prisioners in the false prision specially planed in the basement  of the university.When started the experiment was all normal , but in the second day the guards start to abuse of the prisioners , the guards undress to prisioners , they was picked of the prisioners .The guards arrive to make to the prisioners real psychology violence.The participants forget that they are in a representation and take very serious they roles.

The experiment was to be canceled by Christina Maslach because the participants have extreme behavioral and emocional disorders and Zimbardo did`t realise about the damage of his study.

The contributions of Zimbardo are few in comparision with the damage to the partcipants of his study.A contribution is his books
